This is a panorama of a part of West London I like very much, the embankment of the Thames in Hammersmith. This drawing is not 100% accurate but the likeness is unmistakable. The centrepiece of this drawing is of course Hammersmith Bridge and in the foreground the lovely little cluster of traditional buildings with London's oldest pub, The Dove. Also less gracious structures can be seen such as the Broadway Centre and the Ark in Hammersmith. Farther back the skyline of the City and Docklands are just visible.
