I started work on this drawing in June 2023 and after more than a year and a half of intermittent work this panoramic view of Firenze is finally finished. In this drawing we're looking out over the centre of Florence toward the west with the Santa Croce and piazza prominently in the foreground. The little square in the lower right corner is imaginary. In the background from left to right Oltrarno, the Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, the Bargello, the Duomo and part of San Lorenze can also be seen.
