My first oil painting for 2024. I usually do 2-3 of these per year because drawing takes up so much time. Anyway, I inteded with this painting to express the joy and expectations of a sunny, warm summer's day. It must be August because the grass is yellow here and there but the shadows are getting longer as the end of summer is near.
